Blue Violins
by Alan Britt

three blue Debussy violins
folded over a clothesline.

A woman with harp strings
for a waist enters the yard.

The wind's black claws
pluck each harp string.

Oboes leave holes
in the feral wind.

The afternoon moon
nibbles a fish skeleton.
